Whether you're undergoing your first facial cosmetic surgery procedure at our San Francisco clinic, or if facial rejuvenation is a concept that is very familiar to you, we want you to have all the information you need. The more you know, the better your experience with us will be.
Dr. Owsley is available for consultation appointments at his San Francisco offices on Wednesday of each week. Please call our office or use this website to arrange a consultation.
It is our policy that a consultation fee of $125 be paid when you schedule your first consultation. If Dr. Owsley determines that you are a candidate for facial cosmetic surgery and you schedule a procedure, your consultation fee will be applied toward the final cost of your surgery.
Dr. Owsley requires that all patients under 18 years old obtain parental consent and be accompanied by a parent at the initial consultation.
We do not offer financing for the procedures performed at Aesthetic Plastic Surgery; however, we're happy to refer you to several financial institutions that can help finance your surgery.
Since every patient's cosmetic issues are unique, the cost of a given surgery depends on the complexity of the case. An exact quote of the cost of each surgery, including all fees, will be provided to you after your initial consultation and examination by Dr. Owsley.
The recovery period after any surgery depends on a number of factors, including the type of procedure performed, the extent of the changes made, and the patient's individual recovery capability. For minor cosmetic surgeries, the recovery period may be just a few days, whereas recovery from an extensive facelift may take several weeks. For a few days after most types of facial cosmetic surgery, you will probably experience some bruising and swelling in the facial areas treated by Dr. Owsley. These side effects will generally subside after a few days. However, because healing of the face and neck is a gradual process, some minimal swelling may continue for several months. Some patients experience minor pain after surgery that can be controlled with medication.
